An important element of the insurance program is to promote the best practice and risk management resources to reduce liability risk to psychology practitioners.
In partnership with legal and risk management service providers, we are building a database of psychology specific tools, advice, and publications to better advance safer patient care and liability protection.
Although resources will be available to members only, select example publications will be periodically posted in this section.
Participants of the Healthcare Professionals Insurance Alliance are provided with medico-legal practice risk resources developed by legal, risk management and profession specific (psychology) specialists. Members are also eligible for 30-minute pro bono and inclusive legal claims defence services from Gowlings, the largest and most highly-recognized legal firm in medical defence and professional liability in Canada.Digital Risks
